A Lebanon man has been jailed on outstanding warrants for charges that were filed earlier this year. According to the Lebanon Police report, an officer responded to the 500 block of Center Street to check on a 9-1-1 hangup. At the scene the officer saw Brandon East run for the back door, and caught up with him. According to the officer, East was not complying and continued to resist arrest, when a second officer arrived and assisted in the apprehension. East was found to have warrants for failure to appear, and parole violation on charges of possession of a control substance. When the officer took East to intake he was rejected at the jail, and was taken to Mercy Hospital to determine that he didn’t have the coronavirus. Once he was cleared, East was taken back to the jail and is being held without bond.
