Some Waynesville High School students took Advanced Placement courses last year and passed Advanced Placement tests in the spring. Passing these tests in various subject areas earned possible college credits in those subjects at the post-secondary level for these students.
WHS Principal Jason Whitt says Advanced Placement students will be honored and receive payment for passing the A-P tests at halftime of the football game on Friday.

This Friday evening’s halftime show also will feature the High School marching band and a parade of the flags of many nations to cap off the Tiger Festival of Nations that will take place outside the stadium before the game.
