Two Lebanon residents killed when car hit house in Springfield

An overnight crash in Springfield killed two people from Lebanon. Springfield Police Officers responded to the area of National and Seminole just after 1 a.m. for a crash.
While on-scene officers discovered a 2004 Ford Mustang, traveling westbound, crashed into a home at 2207 S. Florence. There were people inside the home, but no one inside was injured. The vehicle was driven by 20-year-old Caleb Brown and 21-year-old Mason Ivey was in the passenger seat. Mason was pronounced deceased on-scene and Caleb was transported to the hospital where he died from injuries sustained in the crash. Both victims are from Lebanon, and next of kin has been notified.
According to Springfield Police, the investigation is on-going but preliminary tests revealed intoxication is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
