Community Salute to Service rescheduled to Friday May 10th.

The Sustainable Ozarks Partnership invites all FLW regional community members to join the Waynesville R-VI School District on Friday as they host our regional celebration of high school seniors who have chosen military service as the next chapter in their lives.
On FRIDAY, May 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., the FLW Region Community Salute to Service will be held at the Waynesville High School gymnasium. Over 40 South-Central Missouri high school seniors from several regional school districts will be individually honored for having committed to serving in the United States military upon graduation.
Honorees will include those who have enlisted in the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard; National Guard; Reserves; attending college through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program; or have received an appointment to one of the United States military academies.
The event is free, open to the public, and represents a great opportunity for our community to once again show our renowned support for our future military members and their families here in the Heart of America.
If you know of a high school senior who is joining the military after graduation and would like to be recognized during this special ceremony, please contact Marianne Ward at [email protected].
