Trick or Treat on Fort Leonard Wood

(Fort Leonard Wood)–Fort Leonard Wood officials have set the Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours this year. Hours for Trick-or-Treating on post will be 6 to 8 p-m on Saturday, October 31st.
Trick-or-Treating will be different this year due to Covid-19, and some tips are being given to parents. First, do not pass out candy if you are on isolation or quarantine. Wear a mask when unable to social distance. Do not participate if you are feeling sick. Turn off exterior lights if you are not participating. Consider “grab and go” or “self-serve” options to speed direct contact.
Check candy to be sure it is sealed and safe. Keep pets inside and away from visiting trick-or-treaters. In addition, parents should make sure their children are also wearing a face mask with that Halloween mask.
