Pulaski County Health Center Releases Latest Covid Count Statistics

Information released Friday by the Pulaski County Health Center shows a continued decline, if ever so slightly, in the week-to-week number of new Covid cases in Pulaski County.
115 new Covid cases were reported in the week of August 29th through September 4th. This was 3 less than the week before.
There was one death attributed to Covid during this one-week stretch, bringing the total since July 1st to 16 deaths overall and 18 for the year.
Progress continues to be made in Pulaski County on the Covid vaccination front. 55.9 percent of the population has received one dose of the Covid vaccine and 42.5 percent have completed the two-shot program. 114 individuals have received the booster dose of the shot.
