Moderate to extreme drought conditions could be developing

Over the last several weeks, much of the area has not seen any significant rainfall, and that has allowed for moderate to extreme drought conditions to develop over some portions of the listening area. National Weather Service Meteorologist, Mike Albano, says those conditions could persist for at least the next month………..

Albano says it’s difficult to tell if that pattern will last into the winter months, but red flag warnings could be possible for the early Fall as trees are losing their leaves……….
