Hate Crimes Rise in State

Nationwide, including in Missouri, hate crimes are on the rise. In 2020, 115 were reported in Missouri – the highest in nine years. During a press conference, the FBI St. Louis Division says that compares to 66 in 2018. U.S. Attorney Sayler Fleming, from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Missouri, is a member of her office’s Hate Crimes Task Force.
