Early start to flu season

The Flu Season is off to an early start this year with laboratory-confirmed cases being reported across the region. In Laclede County, Health Department Nursing Director Kim Smith says there are currently 7 cases of influenza A confirmed in Laclede County and 1 case of influenza B….

Smith said the challenge is determining if it’s the flu or COVID….

Influenza vaccines are available at several locations including the Laclede County Health Department, your primary care physician and some pharmacies.
