Covid-19 vaccination event will take place in Waynesville specifically for military veterans

For the first time, a Covid-19 vaccination event will take place in Waynesville specifically for military veterans. The Truman Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia announced Friday that the Truman V-A’s Waynesville Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Waynesville will administer the Covid vaccine for enrolled eligible veterans of any age from 9 to 3 on Saturday, March 6th. Vaccinations will be administered by appointment only. Veterans must call 573-774-2285 to schedule an appointment. If a Veteran is unsure of his or her eligibility status, the Veteran may call (573) 814-6535 to verify or to inquire about the possibility of enrolling by telephone. If a Veteran enrolls and is eligible for VA health care, they will have an opportunity to be vaccinated.
The Community Based Outpatient Clinic for veterans is located at 700 G-W Lane Street in Waynesville.
