Community involvement key to drug eradication

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office reports at least 10 drug arrests over a period of about a week. Captain Chris Twitchel tells us that most of the arrests for possession of a controlled substance were the result of traffic stops when deputies were following up on complaints from the public…

He said they found a variety of controlled substances during the investigations….

Twitchel said that they take every complaint from their citizens seriously, and while it may take some time to get a conclusion, they do investigate.

He said sometimes the small drug cases, turn into a much larger investigation, and sometimes they even become a federal case.
