(Crocker)–The pace of new Covid-19 infections in Pulaski County is not slowing down. The County Health Center in Crocker reported Monday afternoon that, as of 4 o’clock, the aggregate total of confirmed Covid-19 test results in Pulaski County was 376, an increase of 69 over last week. Three individuals are currently hospitalized with the coronavirus. There are 207 active cases in the county. This is an estimated number, as there is not a set or consistent definition for recovered. The Health Center reports that 3846 known negative tests have been administered. While health officials do investigate and post public places that may have been a higher risk of public exposure, it is best to assume that every location a person visits is a location of potential exposure. Individuals should take the appropriate precautions to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. Individuals who are identified as close contact with a confirmed positive case will be notified.
