Death Investigation in Pulaski County

Officials in Pulaski County say a man was found dead Sunday in a vehicle that ended up in a Pulaski County pond.

In a press release, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department said the name of the man has yet to be released and that he was found dead in a vehicle pulled from a pond Sunday afternoon near Dixon, Missouri.

Crews responded to the 19000 block of Camp Road near the Gasconade Hills Conservation Area. When rescue crews arrived, they entered the pond and noticed a man inside a submerged vehicle. The units could not recover the victim from the car, but a tow truck company later removed from the car and the man’s body from the pond.

Early findings indicate that a possible medical incident occurred before the vehicle ended up in the pond. The investigation is continuing.
