Cyber Attack On UnitedHealth Care Could Affect One Third Of U.S.
Possibly one-third of the U.S. population may have had their healthcare data compromised in February’s cyber attack against UnitedHealth Group. That’s according to CEO Andrew Witty, who testified under oath about the attack before a U.S. House subcommittee this week. He said, though, that they don’t yet know the exact number:
Meanwhile, U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt says any Missourians whose health data has been breached can reach out to his office for help. He also advises them to contact the Missouri Attorney General’s office.
