Watch Party for the Netflix series, “Ozarks” as series begins it’s final season

For fans of the hit Netflix series “Ozark,” there is a watch party tonight at Marty Byrde’s bar at the Lake of the Ozarks. Tonight begins the final season of the show featuring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney—in the fictional crime drama about the Byrde family and their nefarious misadventures as they relocate to the Lake of the Ozarks in order to launder money after running afoul of a powerful Mexican drug cartel in Chicago. Lagina Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of Lake of the Ozarks Tri-County Lodging Association says the Lake area has enjoyed its own celebrity

The party includes a come as your favorite character costume party and some other tourism promotions. The bar was established after the show became a hit – and is a tourist draw for lake visitors. The series is the creation of St. Louis native Bill Dubuque, who worked at the Lake of the Ozarks during the summers of his teen years.
