The Committee of Fifty will be honoring Cpl. Collin Stageman on May 3rd as a member of the MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood’s Best Squad of 2023

The Committee of Fifty will be honoring Cpl. Collin Stageman on May 3rd as a member of the MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood’s Best Squad of 2023. Stageman, a native of Fredonia, Wisconsin, enlisted in the Marine Corps in April of 2016, as a Radio Operator. After serving for four years, he went back home to work in a packaging warehouse. In November of 2021, Stageman enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Horizontal Construction Engineer. Stageman has been awarded one Army Achievement Medal, an Army Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal during his six years and five months of service. During his time at Fort Leonard Wood, he won the title of Iron Soldier while attending the Basic Leader Course, and his squad won the title of Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood Best Squad, after which they moved on to place sixth at the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command level Best Squad Competition. He is currently a Horizontal Construction Operator with the Quarry Support Platoon, Alpha Company, 554th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade. Those interested in attending must RSVP by 9AM today, May 2nd.
