Missouri is at the halfway point on a bipartisan bill that would give tax credits to attract Hollywood to the Show-Me State. The Missouri Senate has passed a bill that would provide tax credits to companies that film at least 50 percent of a movie in Missouri. Under the proposal, the film credits would be capped at eight million dollars annually. House Speaker Dean Plocher, says, broadly speaking, he supports the idea.

The next stop for the bill is the Missouri House.
