Macks Creek man arrested for Crimes against a Child
On the morning of Tuesday, May 7 th detectives and deputies from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence in Macks Creek and arrested the resident of the home for possession of child pornography. The investigation began on April 22 nd when detectives received a Cyber Tipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) indicating someone downloading child pornography within Camden County. The investigation indicated 37-year-old Kenneth D Jamison, used the KIK social media application to communicate with other KIK users and exchange graphic pornographic images and video files with them.
Jamison was arrested at his residence on Storm Ridge Road in Macks Creek and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. Detectives seized several electronic devices during the search warrant for further forensic download and examination. Jamison is charged with three counts of the Class B Felony of First Degree Promoting Child Pornography
and seven counts of the Class D Felony of Second Degree Promoting Child Pornography. At this point in the investigation there is no indication that any of the images or videos involve any local victims.
