Special Road continues to work out tax issue

Lebanon Special Road District Number is still trying to work out its options after the renewal of a tax levy failed to make it to the State, before the County Collector sent out tax statements. Since that time, Special Road District Board President Steve Murrell says they have been in contact with the state, and have gotten the Pro-forma back and now they have to determine how they will get the tax money…

Once residents in Special Road District receive that tax bill they will be instructed on how to pay. The amount that was not on the tax statements from the county added up to close to $600-thousand-dollars. The Special Road District Board is scheduled to meet tonight(wed) to discuss their options.
