Sidewalks in the City

An effort is underway to make Lebanon more walkable, by developing a network of trails and sidewalks throughout the city. Lebanon City Administrator Mike Schumacher says there are walking trails in the city parks for health and wellness, but they also would like to develop more sidewalks to allow people to walk safely to their destination….

One street for a potential sidewalk project is New Buffalo Road, but he said they have to have right of way first….

Schumacher said they have also identified a couple of areas that they would like to finish out, like another section of Bland Road, but again it depends on right of way acquisition.
