Senator Blunt votes not guilty and says the proceedings were a waste of time

(Washington, D. C.)–The U. S. Senate impeachment trial in the nation’s capital ended Wednesday with the acquittal of President Trump on the two articles of impeachment brought over from the U-S House. Both of Missouri Senators voted “not guilty” and Senator Roy Blunt said the proceedings were a waste of time.

Every Senator was given five minutes to comment before the final voting began.
