Salem Man Facing Murder Charges

Dent County Prosecutor Andrew Curley has filed second-degree murder charges for a deadly shooting in Salem Friday night.
25-year old Harley Lem Higgs of Salem faces those charges for the death of David Woodall.

Dent County officials responded to a home after a report of a shooting injuring Woodall. He later died from his injuries. Woodall’s girlfriend said that the two men argued before the shooting.
Bond for Higgs is set at one million dollars; he is scheduled to appear in court today before Judge Nathan Kelsaw.
