New Triage area set up at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon

Patients who are seeking care at Mercy Hospital Lebanon will notice a new triage area just outside the Emergency Room entrance. On Monday, the forward triage facility opened and will allow medical staff to evaluate patients who are seeking care for possible COVID-19. Judy O’Connor-Snyder, executive director operations at Mercy Lebanon tells us what to expect when seeking care at the hospital

If COVID-19 is suspected the patient will be directed to a trailer which is outside the hospital….

O’Conner-Snyder said the goal is to protect those who are seeking care at Mercy Lebanon, by adding an additional layer of care, when someone comes on the hospital campus.
