Murder suspect in custody in Laclede County

A Lebanon man is in custody for murder. Officers from the Lebanon Police Department responded to a call in the 500 block of Polk Street for a report of shots fired inside a residence just after 6:30 on Friday night. At the scene they found 53 year old Brenda Rogers dead from a gunshot wound. The investigation led to the arrest of 61 year old Mark Tampow. Tampow is in the Laclede County Jail on a charge of first degree murder and armed criminal action, with a bond of $100-thousand-dollars.
