It looks like MODOT is putting together a plan to address a bump at the railroad tracks on Jefferson Avenue. Area Engineer Bob Lynch said it will take some time and coordination with other entities to make it happen. He said the challenge is the tracks were raised about 6 inches…..

He said it’s not something that their crews will be able to take care of, but they will take care of maintenance, but the actual contract for a permanent fix, they will continue discussions with Burlington Northern. In the meantime, drivers will need to slow down when going across the rail crossing on Jefferson Avenue in Lebanon.
