Lake Ozark man accused of beating woman causing serious injuries
A Lake Ozark man is facing a felony charge of domestic assault after the brutal beating of a woman, who had been in a relationship with him. The investigation began when a Camden County Deputy responded to an area hospital, where a woman was being treated for multiple injuries, on Thursday. 32 year old Matthew Paul Lehmann is accused of attacking the victim hitting her in the head, and pulling her hair. When the victim attempted to get up, Lehmann reportedly held her head down with his foot. During the assault he climbed on top of her, bounced her head off the ground and slapped her repeatedly. The victim said she tried to leave again, but he pushed her down a flight of stairs. After the victim was able to get away, a family member took her to the hospital where she was treated for broken bones, injuries to her head and face, and bruises. Lehmann is currently free on bond.
