Laclede County Man Sentenced After Statutory Sodomy Guilty Plea

Circuit Judge Kenneth Hayden has sentenced a Laclede County man to 20 years in prison after 28-year-old Cody Lee Staggs of Lebanon entered a guilty plea to two counts of statutory sodomy Tuesday afternoon.

Staggs’ was accused of the assault of the 10-year-old after the investigation of Marcus Hill, who was charged with sodomizing a child in the second degree and tampering with a witness.
