Laclede County Man Facing Numerous Felony Charges

A 53-year-old Lebanon man is being held in the Laclede County Detention Center facing numerous felony charges including arson, burglary, possession of stolen property, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Rene Harvey Junior is currently being held on a parole violation. Harvey was released from the Missouri Department of Corrections in November of 2022, after having been sentenced to life in prison in 1996 for the murder of a Camdenton woman. Harvey is a suspect in a burglary and arson that occurred on Friday in the 37-thousand block of Dawn Road, in the southeast part of the county. Harvey is also a suspect in a burglary on March 10th on Miami Drive. Some of the stolen items have been recovered. The Laclede County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate.
