Congress passed and President Trump signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act also known as CARES Act. Over the course of the past three weeks, Laclede County has reviewed the requirements of the CARES Act and has been working to identify community priorities and development and application process to allow applicants to request CARES Act funds. Laclede County Commissioner and Chamber Director, Darrell Pollock says, they have extended the deadline for the application:

Pollock strongly encourages small businesses in the area to look into the local CARES Act application. He says if anyone has questions and direction they can call The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce office, The Laclede County Commission, or the Laclede County Clerk’s office.
