Human Remains found in Miller County

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found in a wooded area on Monday afternoon. Deputies responded to the call just after 3 pm, when a caller said he had found human bones in the woods. The Sheriff’s Office has yet to find out who the person was, or how they died. The skeletal remains have been taken to the Boone County Medical Examiner’s office and the MU Department of Anthropology for possible identification.
