Officials have posted comments on Facebook by Air Force Technical Sergeant Jessica Gluth of the 368th Training Squadron, who is an Emergency Management Training Instructor with the Air Force at Fort Wood.

A movie, Men of Honor, was based on Navy Master Diver Carl Brashear’s act of heroism during the Palomares Incident. Actor Cuba Gooding Junior played the part of Carl Brashear.
