The Covid count went up across the state this past weekend. For the period of October 31st through November 6th, Pulaski County recorded 151 new covid cases. This is up slightly from the week before. The latest information from the Centers For Disease Control reveals that 82.2 percent of people, 65 and over, are fully vaccinated while 93.1 percent have taken their first Covid vaccination. Of the total population, 55.8 percent are reported to be fully vaccinated. 65.4 percent of the total population have received their first dose of the vaccine.
Pulaski County is a county considered to have a high transmission rate for the Covid virus. However, no fatality resulted from Covid during the October 31st through November 6th period.
