Drug arrest in Dallas County

A Buffalo man who already had outstanding warrants for his arrest is facing additional charges in Dallas County. Dallas County Deputies responded to Petunia Drive on December 28th for a domestic disturbance. When they spoke with the residents, they said that they were contacted by a man who said that Benjamin Mizell was assaulting the woman’s daughter. It was then determined that Mizell had active warrants for his arrest from Greene and Dallas County. The deputies went to the residence and began looking for Mizell and found him hiding in the attack. When they searched Mizell he was found in possession of methamphetamine. Mizell is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest and is being held without bond.
