Domestic assault arrest in Licking

A man from Licking has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault Sunday. Texas County Sheriff Scott Lindsey reports that Deputies responded to a disturbance on Reed Road. 25 year old Trevor Light is accused of punching another man, after tackling him to the ground, and then hitting him with car parts that were strewn about in the yard. Light was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail, and the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Light’s bond was set at $500-thousand-dollars.
