Disturbance on West Elm leads to arrest
Lebanon Police arrested a man for assaulting his wife on Saturday evening. Police responded to a disturbance in the 12-hundred block of West Elm where they found the victim in pain due to being kicked in the stomach. Officers found the suspect, 34-year-old Eric Pontious sitting in the back yard. He told the officers he was there cooling off because he had an argument with his wife. According to the report, Pontious is accused of slamming the victim into the floor and kicking her in the side. Pontious is currently free on bond with his next hearing set for February 8th.
