Dirt bike accident injures a Phelps County rider

A Phelps County dirt bike operator was seriously injured at midnight overnight on County Road 3410 near County Road 3520 in Phelps County.
According to the highway patrol, 50-year-old Dale L. Hayes of St. James was riding on a YCF dirt bike, which traveled off the roadway, overturned, ejecting Hayes.
He was taken for treatment to Phelps Health in Rolla.
