Missouri’s 2020-2021 deer-hunting season ended January 15th, and the Missouri Department of Conservation is reporting the preliminary total deer harvest at 296-thousand-516, showing an increase of more than 10-thousand deer harvested last year. The top harvest counties for the overall deer season were Franklin with 57-hundred-86, Howell with 53-hundred-67, and Callaway with 49-hundred-89 deer harvested throughout the season. Among the counties closer to home, Laclede County hunters checked in 36-hundred-80, Dallas County checked in 39-hundred-69, Camden County hunters checked 36-hundred-90, Pulaski was 22-hundred-11, Webster 32-hundred-22, and Wright County hunters harvested 32-hundred-14 deer.
