Dallas County Traffic stop leads to recovery of stolen property

Dallas County Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in the 200 block of State Highway 215 on Sunday morning. The homeowner told deputies that he got home shortly after 12am and discovered someone had broken into his home. During the investigation, deputies discovered weapons and tools stolen from the home. Deputies also discovered footprint and tire track impressions. A couple of hours later, deputies pulled over a vehicle on Highway 215 and discovered items matching what had been stolen from the home just two hours earlier. Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle had outstanding warrants and were taken into custody.
