Charges are pending in the death of an Overland Park, Kansas man, Sunday evening at Lake of the Ozarks. 51-year old Neil A. Reams was a passenger on a Polaris A.T.V. driven by 54-year old Ronald T. Weems of Overland Park when Weems, according to reports, was driving too fast for conditions, traveled off the road, overturned, and struck a tree. Reams was pronounced deceased later Sunday evening; another passenger, 48-year old Beth Reams, also of Overland Park, suffered minor injuries. Weems is facing charges of D.W.I. involving the death of another, Involuntary Manslaughter, Operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving a crash. He was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.  The incident occurred on Turn Bridge Lane, west of Grand Point Boulevard in Camden County. No court date has been set.
