Missouri’s senior senator says local businesses across the state are being hindered by shortages in labor and in raw materials. Senator Roy Blunt has been visiting businesses across southwest Missouri, including vacation destinations and boating companies:

 

More than TWO-MILLION people visit Silver Dollar City annually, with the summer months being the busiest time. Senator Blunt supports the governor’s decision to end federal assistance to unemployment benefits. He says unemployment benefits have been so high that people have been reluctant to go to work.
