Benton County Homicide investigations continues

The investigation continues in the death of a man whose body was found in Benton County. 28-year-old Cody Garrett had been reported missing on June 12th when he failed to return to his Columbia home. Garrett’s car was found on Benton House Avenue in Warsaw and searchers found his body about a half-mile away on a bike trail. Benton County Sheriff Erik Knox says he believes it’s an isolated incident…

Garrett’s death has been ruled a homicide, but his cause of death is not being released at this time.
