A Soldier assigned to the 3rd Chemical Brigade is scheduled for court-martial today at Fort Leonard Wood. The accused, Capt. Jeremy Dunn is charged with six specifications of sexual assault of a child, in violation of Article 120b of the Universal Code of Military Justice, four specifications of rape, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ; and three specifications of sexual assault, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ. If convicted of all charges, Dunn could face the maximum punishment of forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement for life without eligibility for parole and a dismissal. At the time charges were preferred, Dunn was the chaplain for the 1st Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment. Fort Leonard Wood officials emphasize the charges are merely allegations and that the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
