A head on collision on Interstate 44 in Laclede County at 7:45 last night (Wednesday) resulted in serious injuries to a Marshfield man. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that 39 year old Christopher Ledford of Marshfield was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of the highway at the 136 mile marker, when he hit a SUV driven by 48 year old Christopher Tucker of Chesterfield. Ledford was airlifted to a Springfield Hospital. Tucker and three occupants in his vehicle were transported to Mercy Lebanon with minor to moderate injuries. Ledford was not wearing a seatbelt, all the occupants in the Tucker SUV were wearing seatbelts.
