Walsh intends to run for Congress

4th District Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler recently announced her intent to seek the U.S. Senate seat being held by Roy Blunt. With the 4th District Seat opening up, Republican State Representative Sara Walsh from Ashland had announced that she will run for the 4th District. Walsh was raised in Mid-Missouri, and has served as a staff auditor in the Missouri State Auditors Office, and was elected to the House of Representatives in 2017, and then re-elected to the seat in 2018 and 2020. Walsh joins former Republican state Senator Ed Emery of Lamar in seeking the seat for the 4th District Congress.
