Upcoming Blood Drives to counteract loss of collections due to Covid-19
(St. Robert)–A series of American Red Cross blood drives will be conducted across the state this month to renew Covid-19 depleted supplies. In Pulaski County, a blood drive will be held in St. Robert June 9th from 2 to 6 p-m at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 123 Bosa Drive. A blood drive will take place on June 12th from 11 a-m to 3 p-m at Lowes Home Improvement Center at 120 Carson Boulevard in St. Robert. In Phelps County, the bloodmobile will visit Troop I Headquarters of the Missouri Highway Patrol at 1301 Nagogami Road West in Rolla from noon to 4 p-m on June 5th. A blood drive also will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 693 Forum Drive in Rolla on June 8th from 2 to 6 p-m.
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required to check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
