Trio arrested during traffic stop

A traffic stop on Monday night in Lebanon resulted in felony charges against 3 people. According to the report filed with the courts, an officer was patrolling on South Jefferson and pulled over a car for a traffic violation. When officers approached the vehicle one noticed a glass pipe, which he described as commonly associated with the use of methamphetamine, beside the driver’s leg. Mark Keupp and passengers David Fleming and Paula Murrietta, were asked to exit the vehicle, and the pipe was seized and tested positive for the presence of meth. An additional search of the vehicle allegedly turned up a baggie with methamphetamine and an additional amount of methamphetamine on Fleming. All three are charged with possession of a controlled substance. Fleming and Murrietta are also charged with resisting arrest.
