The murder trial of a Webster County man won’t happen for another year. The trial of 57-year-old Larry Allen Dinwiddie is now scheduled to take place on November 29th, 2021. Dinwiddie was arrested 4 years after his wife Cynthia Dinwiddie went missing. Dinwiddie was arrested in 2019 after the body of his wife Cynthia Dinwiddie was found in a freezer that had been in storage since 2015. Dinwiddie, a former truck driver, is accused of hitting the victim in the face with a hammer and strangling her, then putting her body in a freezer, to hide the crime. The freezer was in storage when an employee opened it and found the body. Dinwiddie will stand trial for second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and abandonment of a corpse.
