The Pulaski County 7-day Covid Positivity Rate has fallen to 7.8 percent. This is the lowest positivity rate in months and the county health status has been moved to a category 3 serious risk rating. The Pulaski County Health Center reports that there have been 270 positive Covid tests detected in the past week. The Health Center will administer the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine this week to those who receive the first shot January 19th through the 21st. Health officials are working on planning future Dose 1 clinics and will post a date and will contact those on their waiting list once additional vaccine arrives. The Pulaski County Health Center has now immunized approximately 3300 people since the Covid vaccine clinics have begun. Although Fort Leonard Wood officials decline to release their vaccination numbers, hospital officials are just coming off a mass vaccination clinic this past Friday and Saturday. If you believe you have been infected with Covid-19, Mercy Clinic in St. Robert, Phelps Health in Rolla, and Central Ozarks Medical Center in Richland are still providing testing.
