Suspect charged in Christmas Day shooting near Richland
Deputies have made an arrest and charges have been filed in connection with a shooting in Pulaski County on Christmas Day. Deputies and EMS responded to 24-thousand block of Rolling Hills Road near Richland, for a reported shooting, at around 5:40pm. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was airlifted to an area Hospital for treatment of a critical injury. According to witness statements, the suspect, identified as Sven Stacey entered the living room of the residence, pointed a gun at the victim and fired. Deputies located Sven Stacey, as he was trying to leave the scene in a vehicle. Stacey is charged with assault, armed criminal action and resisting arrest. He remains in the Pulaski County jail with a bond of $600-thousand cash only. The victim is reported to be in stable but serious condition.
