Still time for readers of all ages to get in on the fun at Bruce C. Clarke Library’s Summer Reading Program
The Bruce C. Clarke Library’s Summer Reading Program has been ongoing since June 7th at Fort Leonard Wood, but there is still time for readers of all ages to get in on the fun.
This year’s program follows the theme, “Reading Colors Your World.” The program continues through July 17th and is partially virtual and partially in-person. Through the program, readers can earn virtual “badges” that they can later trade for prizes. Readers can log the minutes they spend reading, as well as completed activities, on the library’s online BeanStack page.
The program has four different age groups–a preschool-age group for children ages 4 and younger, an elementary-school-age group for children ages 5 to 12, a teen group for readers ages 13 to 17, and an adult group for readers ages 18 and above. Prizes will be awarded during the library’s “Beat the Heat” event, scheduled for July 17th at 2 p-m, which will have activities scheduled inside and outside the library.
